We welcome our most recent individual member Mr. Bo Kratz 柯瑞保 to the Chamber.
Bo is a senior Asset Management specialist and leader. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Bo has held leadership and C-suite roles based in Stockholm, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
During the last few decades, Bo has worked extensively throughout Asia, building, and managing operations in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, and Japan.
Up until the end of 2021, Bo was based in Hong Kong, as APAC CEO of Conning, responsible for developing the ultimate owner, Cathay Financial Holdings’ asset management ambitions in the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Conning, Bo served as Head of APAC for Northern Trust Asset Management, where he oversaw both equity and fixed income strategies for large institutional clients in Asia Pacific. Bo has also held senior roles in the region with Permal Group and ABN AMRO Asset Management.
A Swedish national, Bo started his financial career in Sweden having worked in brokerage, equity research and portfolio management and before leaving his home country in 2001, serving as CIO at Alfred Berg Asset Management. He holds a degree in finance from the University of Gothenburg and an MBA from Warwick Business School in England.
Bo’s affiliation with Taiwan dates to 1990, when he married Lian-Yi from Taipei, whom he met at Warwick University in the late 1980s. As such Bo is a fully qualified 台灣 女婿 (Taiwan Son In Law) and now split his time between Taiwan and his native Sweden.
