As you will have seen by now we not only promote Swedish business in Taiwan, we also invest in promoting Sweden culturally. We believe strengthening the ‘Sweden brand’ is of high importance and value to our member companies and a great cultural experience for the Taiwanese.
This past weekend we celebrated Swedish S:t Lucia in a Tianmu church where a progression of 20 children from the ‘Swedish School of Taipei’ sang traditional songs and made sure every guest got to experience the Christmas vibe. Afterwards we served hot mulled wine, ginger snaps, saffron buns, Christmas candy and everything else that goes with a traditional Christmas.
It was great seeing everyone’s joy, and with this the Chamber wishes everyone a marvelous Christmas, hoping you get some well deserved time off with your loved ones. Wherever you may be!
