Dear YP members, this is a study visit we originally planned for March 2020 when Covid hit Taiwan.
SHL Medical is a world-leading solutions provider in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced delivery devices such as autoinjectors, pen injectors, and innovative specialty delivery systems for large-volume and high-viscosity formulations.
If anyone you know happens to suffers from diabetes you also know they inject themselves with insulin, the injection they are now able to administer themselves in the comfort of their own home using a so called epipen, most likely developed by SHL Medical.
The company was founded by Mr Roger Samuelsson in 1989 and has since then developed into the world’s largest manufacturer of auto injectors, allowing for example people suffering from diabetes to administer themselves insulin.
Restrictions on visiting this very exciting life science SCCT member company has now been lifted and we welcome our YP Community to join us in the visit on May 12th.
