On April 14th, we offer our Young Professional community to visit our premiere Silver member Scania’s production facility in Taoyuan.

Scania is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, including trucks and buses for heavy transport applications combined with an extensive product-related service offering. Scania offers vehicle financing, insurance, and rental services to enable our customers to focus on their core business. Scania is also a leading provider of industrial and marine engines.

Employing some 56,927 people, Scania operates in about 100 countries. Research and development activities are concentrated in Sweden, while production takes place in Europe and South America, with facilities for global interchange of both components and complete vehicles. Bus chassis production takes place in Sweden and Brazil. Bodybuilding takes place in Poland and Russia. In 2022, net sales totalled SEK 170 Billion SEK and connected Scania vehicles 575,509 units.

Griffin Automotive has been a 100% owned subsidiary of Scania in Taiwan since 2005. The company does not only sell new Scania trucks and buses but also provides more than 20,128 units of registered Scania vehicle for maintenance and repair services and support in Taiwan.

This study visit will be an excellent opportunity for you to get a holistic understanding of Scania’s presence in Taiwan, why they decided to establish in Taiwan, and answers to any other questions you may have!

Three days before the visit, you will be supplied with additional information about where we meet in the morning and contact information for our intern Ms. Sarah Nygårdh.

We look forward to seeing you there!
