Do you want to live a non-traditional lifestyle, build up an extra income without having to work more hours or just be more financially secure and sleep well at night?

Join the chamber for our regular series of talks on personal finance, investing and valuing publicly traded companies. Speakers – Chamber members and Do-It-Yourself Investors Johan Skarendal and Patrick Yu.

Regardless if you’re a beginner, have been investing for a while or thinking about it but don’t know where to start, discussing investments with others and getting a few tips can get you a long way.

2021 was the year of meme stocks and doge coins, but with central banks tightening monetary policy – will “above average quality at below average price” make a comeback in 2022? Will companies that actually make money be back on the radar?

This time we´ll be discussing topics based on audience feedback from our previous four events

-What is an ETF and what are some important things to consider when investing through ETF´s?

-Valuation 101, how much should we pay for slow-growers, middle-of-the-roaders and fast growers – A.K.A. when is it time to sell?

-Renewable energy is usually overvalued, we´ll look at a case which is more reasonably priced

-The Metaverse – what is this and what companies can be considered for investment?

We extend our thanks to Mr. Martin Söderberg and our corporate member TCO Development for offering us a great venue!

Also joining us this time will be Dr. Torbjörn Nordling. He will be sharing his forecast for the investing year 2022 under the headline of “Risk Management in a market driven by spiraling debt that kills profits”
