Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei,
Warm greetings!
My name is Pojanath, but you can call me Poj. I was born in Bangkok, raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, and later pursued my education in the UK, where I earned a PhD in Politics from Newcastle University. My academic background is in international relations and trade negotiations, and I continued with postdoctoral research at Durham University on the Tipping Points project, exploring how small incremental changes can trigger significant systemic transformations.
For the past six years, I have had the immense privilege of serving as the Executive Director of the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce. It was a true honor to represent Swedish companies—leaders in sustainable innovation, committed to sharing their solutions globally to foster societal and economic growth. Sweden may be a small country, but it certainly punches above its weight on the global stage. I took immense pride in promoting forward-thinking Swedish businesses and I am incredibly happy to continue championing Sweden’s contributions in my new role here in Taipei.
As the new Executive Director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei, I am eager to work closely with our members and partners to strengthen ties and advance our shared goals. The Chamber exists to serve you, so I welcome your suggestions and ideas. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at director@swedchamtw.org, and feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/pojanath-bhatanacharoen/ so we can stay in touch.
Thank you very much in advance for your invaluable support. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you.
Warm regards,
Pojanath Bhatanacharoen 趙晶
