On Tuesday, 25 March, the Young Professionals had the great opportunity to visit SHL Medical, the pioneering leader in self-injection solutions. From autoinjectors to drug delivery solutions for specialty formulations, SHL Medical is shaping the future of healthcare with cutting-edge technology and innovation.
The visit, organized by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals, provided an insightful behind-the-scenes look at SHL Medical’s operations in Taiwan. We gained valuable insights into SHL Medical’s manufacturing processes, recruitment opportunities, and global impact.
During the presentation about SHL Medical, we had the chance to see their autoinjector product, Molly®, and understand how it works. We also learned that SHL Medical has 5,000 employees based in Taiwan representing 48 nationalities and working across various teams within the company. Some exciting news is that they are expanding their manufacturing capabilities in the US and Switzerland.
As part of the career-sharing session, we heard from Hugo Af Klint, who is from Sweden and works as Head Industrialization & Method Maintenance, about his career path at SHL Medical. Additionally, Nikola Viktorov, an intern from Canada working at Operation Excellence for Automation Technology, shared his experience at the company. Lastly, we received valuable tips from Kelly Ong from HR on how to stand out in the recruitment process.
