On 13 May, the Young Professionals of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei brought the aroma of freshly baked Swedish cinnamon buns to the Electrolux Experience Center in Taipei.ย Together with an inspiring group of attendees, we mixed culture, sustainability, and a whole lot of fun into one delicious afternoon while also learning about language, traditions, and social norms.ย Our cultural segment included a presentation on cultural differences between Sweden and Taiwan, from Flogstavrรฅlet in Uppsala, where students scream out of their windows at 10 p.m. to relieve stress, to the contrasts between Swedish individualism and Confucian influences in Taiwanese society.
