The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei is a non-profit member organization registered in Taipei in 2012.
The board of Directors of the Swedish Chamber is looking for a person with genuine interest in working with the Swedish business community in Taiwan, promoting Sweden as a brand and in all other ways assisting Swedish business in Taiwan.
The person we are looking for must be able to work independently, take own initiatives and be capable of handling many different issues at the same time. Furthermore, you must be able to work in a team and be willing to build a comprehensive net building atmosphere for the members to use.
The day-to-day operations of the chamber include planning and coordinating events, promoting the chamber and its membership to potential members and keeping yourself updated regarding the local business environment.
As of today, the organization’s day-to-day operations are carried out by you (the CEO) along with your current intern. Our annual internship is one-year and starts in June each year. To your assistance, you also have the chamber’s Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors.
The CEO reports to the Board of Directors. The responsibilities include overseeing and managing all chamber activities, budgeting, bookkeeping, strategic planning and working towards the mission and objectives of the chamber. You should ideally have an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills.
