About the event

At this exclusive breakfast seminar, we will give you a briefing of the results from the Business Climate Survey 2020 and COVID-19 updates.

The annual Business Climate Survey is one of SCCT’s most important publications. Global business leaders share their views on a variety of questions: How confident are they about Taiwan’s economic outlook and their own revenue growth? Is the US-China trade war a concern? Do they plan to hire more workers? Are Taiwan’s policymakers meeting the needs of business? And many more questions will be discussed.

Vlad Månsson from Business Sweden Taipei will also share insights on the state of the global economic recovery as well as key measures and plans in Taiwan for economic recovery and development beyond the pandemic. Taiwan has received international praise for its management of the COVID-19 pandemic, faring better than most international peers within public health management and economic performance. Still, as a small export dependent economy, Taiwan is highly reliant on the global economic development and recovery. Taiwan’s government has revealed several measures and stimulus packages in order to boost the economy during the pandemic, but also to ensure a strong recovery and readiness for the post-pandemic period.
